Dianema depressum
Overview
Sporocarpous or plasmodiocarpous, pulvinate or depressed, 2-10 mm diam., shining beige or grey-brown. Hypothallus inconspicuous. Peridium thin membranous, beige-brown, either smooth or with a reticulum of small meshes, dehiscing irregularly. Capillitial threads abundant, mostly in groups of 2-6, slightly interconnected at the base and top, minutely warted and sometimes also with larger dark granules, expanding elastically. Spore-mass pale grey or beige. Spores 7-9 µm diam., with a small-meshed reticulum interrupted by a small germination pore. Plasmodium white or rosy.
