Overview
Sporocarps 70-150 µm tall. Stalk 50-95 µm long, expanded below and tapered upward, the lower portions often containing granular matter, 2-3 µm diam. at the apex. Sporotheca 30-50 µm diam., white or pink when freshly matured, white, pink or pale cinnamon when dry. Columella globose, spore-like, thickened at the base, bearing thickened articular pads on the upper hemisphere, 9-13 µm diam. Peridium fugaceous except for a portion which adheres tightly to the base of the columella. Spore-mass white or pink. Spores hyaline, globose, 9-13 µm diam., minutely roughened, bearing pads at points of spore-to-spore contact.
