Geographic distribution
In the Philippines, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental Province, Negros Island.

Natural history
Ants of this genus forage in the leaf litter. They curl up into a ball when disturbed.

How to encounter
Hand-sift leaf litter. Look for seed-like objects. Wait for the ants to uncurl and start walking again.
