Citation: 臺灣魚類誌(沈等, 1993)
Character: Dorsal fin with XII spines and 9-10 soft rays; anal fin with III spines and 5 soft rays; pectoral fin with 16-17 soft rays. This species named after it's supraocular tentacle like cirrus. Body color reddish, each fin with reddish spot. 
Habitat: Inhabit demersal marine environment; depth range 170 - 600 m. Other information is unclear yet. 
Distribution: Indo-West Pacific: Mauritius and Reunion to the Philippines and Taiwan. 
Utility: Not commercial food species.
