This is a widespread tramp ant species, transported from its native habitat by human commerce.
VIETNAM - This species was described by Emery (1890) from St. Thomas I. (Antilles), and was recorded by Bolton (2000) from Vietnam. [written by K. Eguchi, 23.Sept.2005]
