Lighthouse Pond is one of the many "managed" impoundments on St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge. The pond is created by a levee with a connection to the bay. The water is shallow and salty. It is used heavily by birds this time of year. For more information: www.fws.gov/saintmarks/media/pdf/robin_trails.pdf
