Aristolochia californica, Pipe vine. Aristolochia littoralis , Dutchman's pipe, calico flower, pelican flower. Ornamental vine, native to Jamaica. The purple-mottled, foul-smelling flowers exploit flies for pollination by deceptively attracting them to what appears to be a site suitable for laying eggs (odor and color of rotting meat).  The cut-away view shows the trap, complete with hairs that point inward and thus delay the exit of floral visitors.
