Main identification features
  • eye cirri: 5 very bushy
  • very elongate
  • dorsal fin low, very long base
  • snout blunt


Body extremely elongate, slender; snout blunt; outer row of teeth on both jaws with flattened tips; bushy mass of 5 pairs of branched cirri over eyes; dorsal fin with long base, 50-53 elements; bicolored - greenish head and nape, red-brown body.

The single species in this genus is endemic to our region.
