Trillium undulatum is differentiated from other species of other Trillium by its petals.  They are white with an inverted red "V" at the base.  Anthers are yellow or purple.  Stigmas are white.  Trillium undualtum has ovoid to ellipsoid berries whcih are scarlett.  It is in bloom during the months of April to May.  It is in fruit from late July to August.4
