David,

Thank you for your offer to help.  I'm supportive of your idea for a
regular 12-page newsletter covering Discover Life in America and ATBI
activities.

Could you send us some cost estimates of what would be involved in a
quarterly newsletter?  How much would it cost both to produce and
distribute?  Assume initially that we would want production runs of
1000-2000 copies.  We can then add these costs into our budget process and
see whether we can afford it.

I also suggest that you send some copies of Sightline to Jody Flemming so
that he can distribute them to our Board of Directors as an example of what
we might produce.

     Joe Abrell also thought that a "hard copy" newsletter would reach many
     folks who can't or won't read an email copy...another item for a
     conference call ?
