Dear Pik,

Hope all is well. I am fairly OK. I have not been able to
locate Philip Rose, the guy doing the virtual herbarium project. He is away
at the moment. I however understand that the work is in progress. The
project is a co-operative effort between the University of the West Indies,
the Institute of Jamaica and Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden (FTBG) which
has developed the software to be used (see
http://www.jamaicachm.org.jm/Articles/digitizing_ja_botanical_col.asp). It has
his email if you wish to contact him. How much progress have you had with
the global proposal? I have had some feedback from Yulu but nothing firm as
yet.

Phillip
