Geographic distribution
In the Philippines, Mt. Isarog Natural Park, Camarines Sur Province, Luzon Island.

Natural history
This ant nests in hollow twigs. It is known to prey on other ant species.

How to encounter
Hand-sift leaf litter and break apart hollow twigs to find nests.
