Overview
Plasmodium white. Usually forming scattered, expanded and lobed, flattened plasmodiocarps 1-3 mm diam., occasionally sporocarpous and then discoid and 0.5-0.7 mm diam., sessile or rarely with a very short, dark brown stalk. Peridium single, membranous, with deposits of lime globules forming a thin, irregular crust. Columella flesh-coloured, sometimes almost obsolete. Capillitium coarse, purplish or colourless, often with membranous expansions at the joints. Spores pale purplish-grey, minutely and closely spinulose, (10-)12-13(-15) µm diam.
