Diderma ochraceum
Overview
Sporocarps sessile, forming subglobose sporocarps or curved or ring-shaped plasmodiocarps, scattered, or clustered, 0.4-1 mm diam., deep ochraceous. Hypothallus inconspicuous. Peridium double, the outer layer cartilaginous, smooth or slightly wrinkled, distinctly calcareous, the inner layer membranous, yellow. Columella inconspicuous. Capillitium abundant, of delicate, brown, simple threads, colourless at the base. Spore-mass black. Spores dark yellowish-brown, 9-11 µm diam., minutely spinulose. Plasmodium lemon-yellow.
