Overview
Sporocarps sessile or very short-stalked, crowded or scattered, 1.5-2 mm total height. Sporothecae 1-1.5 mm diam., spherical or ovate. Peridium dark grey to iridescent, thin, membranous, disappearing rather early. Columella subcylindrical, sometimes tapered upward. Capillitium rather pale, grey or purplish, radiating from the columella as flexuous, anastomosed threads, colourless at tips. Spore-mass dark purplish brown. Spores purplish grey, marked with vesicular, warted crests, 12-15 µm diam. Plasmodium unknown.
