Overview
Protoplasmodium colourless. Sporocarps scattered, sessile, hemispherical to subglobose, 0.08-0.13 mm diam., shiny, black, smooth, sometimes becoming wrinkled and impregnated with refuse material on drying. Peridium thick, cartilaginous. Dehiscence either by a preformed lid or irregular. Spore-mass yellow. Spores globose to oval, pale yellow, the wall thick, smooth, 9.5-11 µm diam.
