Overview
Sporocarps dispersed or in groups, 0.4-1.0 mm tall, usually long-stalked. Stalk dull black. Sporotheca urn-shaped or, if the operculum is not clearly defined, then ± spherical, 0.1-0.3 mm diam., dark brown to almost black, operculum flat and usually shining. Peridium below the operculum dull from inclusions in the gelatinous outer layer, yellow-brown by TL, membranous, clear; the operculum membranous and papillose on the inside. Spores almost colourless, wall smooth and thick with a large, though often indistinct, thinner area, 10-13 µm diam.
