This species is known only from winged reproductives.

Natural history
Ants of this genus are known to live among hardwood termites, which they capture and feed on apparently without arousing defensive behavior from the termites.

How to encounter
Chop open dead hardwood logs that are not lying on the ground. Termites in the heartwood may be the host of this ant.
