Overview
Sporocarps short-stalked or sessile, globose to turbinate, 0.6-1.7 mm diam., shining dark yellow-brown. Hypothallus small, dark. Stalk rugose, dark. Peridium double, the outer layer cartilaginous, crustose, smooth, the inner layer white, calcareous. Capillitium dense, composed of numerous large, white, rounded nodes and thin hyaline tubules. Spore-mass black. Spores dark brown, 8-10 µm diam., verrucose. Plasmodium yellow.
