Overview
Sporocarps stalked, up to 1.8 mm total height. Sporothecae globose, white, 0.3-0.5 mm diam. Hypothallus inconspicuous. Stalk slender, yellowish-white, wrinkled. Peridium thin, covered with white lime globules, the base persisting as a collar. Columella usually lacking, sometimes forming a small projection from the top of the stalk. Capillitium dense, with small white, rounded lime nodes which are aggregated to form a ball in the centre of the sporotheca but the nodes not fused. Spore-mass black. Spores lilac, 6.5-7.5 µm diam., spinulose. Plasmodium grey.
