Overview
Originally described by Von H. Stitz in 1925 from the collection of G. Boettcher, this species was "rediscovered" by Dr. Herbert Zettel.

Identification
The elaborate petiole and recurved propodeal spines are distinctive.

In the Philippines: Surigao Province, Mindanao Island in 1913 collected by Georg Boettcher.
Quezon National Park, Atimonan, Quezon Province, Luzon Island collected by Dr. Herbert Zettel.
