Overview
Grows and fruits well on wMY agar (0.02 g malt extract, 0.02 g yeast extract, 0.75 g K2HPO4, and 15 g agar/L distilled water) with either Fla-20 or Flavobacterium sp. as its food source. Sporocarps with stalks (6.9-)35-64 µm long and the stalk tip tapering to an acute point. Stalks very straight and rigid. Spores uninucleate and 8.0-12.5 µm in diam. and relatively indeciduous. Amoebae typically uninucleate and unpigmented, though they may become plurinucleate in older cultures. Prespore cell ellipsoidal.
