This large species from southwestern United States and northern Mexico has been collected many times since publication of the revision by LaBerge (1956). An additional 40 females and 58 males have been examined from many localities. The known range of this species has been somewhat extended to the west to southern California by these new records. In order to conserve space only new localities and new floral records will be listed here. The specimens are in the collec tions of the University of Arizona at Tucson, the University of Cali fornia at Davis and at Berkeley, Cornell University at Ithaca, New York, the American. Museum of Natural History, New York City, the U.S. National Museum, Washington, D.C., Utah State University at Logan, the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, and the P. H. Timberlake collection, Riverside, California. ARIZONA: Chiricahua (2 miles S.); Chiricahua National Monument, Chiricahua Mountains; Continental; Eloy (11 miles S.); Fort Huachuca; Pearce; Portal (2.5 and 5 miles N. and 10 miles E.); Roll; Rustlers Park, Chiricahua Mountains; Sedona (15 miles S.); Southwestern Research Station (5 miles W. of Portal); Tombstone (7 miles N.). CALIFORNIA: Calexico (29 miles E.). NEW MEXICO: Cienega Ranch (14 miles N. of Rodeo); Cubero; Mesilla Park; Three Rivers; Tularosa. CHI HUAHUA, MEXICO: Juarez (13 miles E.). New floral records: Asclepias subverticillata, Baccharis sp., Cryptantha oblata, Haplopappus sp., Helenium hoopesii, Kallstroemia sp., Melilotus alba, Verbesina oreophila.
