Discover Life provides free on-line tools to identify species, teach and study nature's wonders, report findings, build maps, process images, and contribute to and learn from a growing, interactive encyclopedia of life with 1,294,316 species pages and 651,710 maps.

Discover Life has tools to study natural history and track the impact of climate change, invasive species, and other large-scale ecological factors. The goal is to build a network of study sites across North America. It's exciting to participate in Discover Life research projects and help to collect high quality data.
