Bill Brown serves as an advisor. He is President and CEO of the Academy of Natural Sciences. Established in 1812, the Academy is the oldest natural science research institution in the Americas. It is recognized internationally for its vast collections, research, exhibits, and educational programs. Before joining the Academy, Bill was the President and CEO of the Bishop Museum in Hawaii. Between 1997 and 2001, he was Science Advisor to U.S. Secretary of the Interior Bruce Babbitt.

John Pickering, University of Georgia, serves as an advisor. Pick, as he is generally know, has been a passionate naturalist since the age of three. He also likes to dabble in databases and has over 40 years experience working with computers.
